Maaike Ferwerda is a PhD student at the Health, Medical, and Neuropsychology unit at Leiden University and the Department of Medical Psychology of the Radboud university medical center. Her research focuses on the (cost-) effectiveness of tailored E-health cognitive behavioral therapy for patients with rheumatoid arthritis at risk for psychological problems and on the role of patient participation during the development and evaluation of E-health applications in care.Back to the people page

Andrea Evers wins Stevin Award for Scientific and Societal Impact Andrea Evers, Professor of Health Psychology at Leiden University, has won the Stevin Prize – alongside the Spinoza Prize, the highest scientific award in the Netherlands.

ZonMw Medical Inspirator Award for research ‘Lyme paralyses lives’ Together with patient representatives, clinician-researchers from Radboucumc, Amsterdam UMC, and researchers from Leiden University (Andrea Evers and Henriët van Middendorp) have received the Medical Inspirator Prize 2019 from ZonMw.
